Community Ambassador Program

Just like an ambassador for a local chamber of commerce, our Fisher House is blessed with many volunteers who give of their time throughout the year in various capacities.  This group of volunteers, lovingly called Community Ambassadors are volunteers on super drive.  They are the unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes of our great organization, working community events in leadership roles.

Considering volunteering?

To get the most out of your experience, ask yourself these questions:

What have I done in the past that I’ve enjoyed?
What do I want to do as a volunteer ?
How much time can I commit?
What talents or skills can I offer?
What kinds of people do I want to work with?
What would I most like to learn by volunteering?

Want to be a CAP?  We would love for you to connect with our mission in a personal way that makes sense for you.  Events like Helping Heroes Gala, Sandestin Wine Festival, Eggs on the Beach, Ranger Camp Open House, Tacos and Tequilla, Sparkling Wine, and Red Empire Day are all events we support.

Not sure if superdrive applies to you?  Urban dictionary says Superdrive is something that is more awesome than usual.  Of course you are more awesome than usual.  Commit to CAP for your local Fisher House today!  Click here for more photos of this amazing resource having fun at our events.
