The Exchange Club of Niceville, in partnership with our  Fisher House of the Emerald Coast, Inc., hosts the Field of Valor each year to honor service members from Florida that have been killed in action while serving in Afghanistan or Iraq since September 11, 2001. This week long event is free and open to the public. Opening ceremony is September 9, 10:00 a.m. and will run through September 16.  Volunteers needed Thursday, September 7 to help set up, throughout the week to serve as field ambassadors  and again on September 16 to help remove the flags.
