It’s OK to admit you need help. If you could use a little more time for yourself, explore respite care options. And if you feel isolated or lonely in your caregiving journey, consider joining an in-person or online peer support group where you can connect with other military caregivers.

The attached guide is provided though AARP Families and the Elizabeth Dole Foundation. It is one of the most comprehensive guides I’ve read. Currently there are 5.5 million military caregivers in the United States. This guide discusses key issues caregivers face including where to get help (with contact information).
