Each year, in conjunction with the open house, our friends at Camp Rudder host a tough run, dubbed affectionately as the Race the Ranger. Proceeds of this event are donated to our Fisher House on Eglin. It’s an early, fun run and we are pleased that our house is available to our rangers and their families during a medical event.
Mosquito Joe of Northwest Florida donates $20 for every person that pre-pays and mentions, “give 20.” By doing this they were able to donate $380 to the Fisher House Foundation in 2018. This year, they reached their goal to donate at least $500.
Mosquito Joe of Northwest Florida specifically partners with the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast. Need some help with Florida’s most popular mosquito named Joe? Call our friends and give 20.
Big thanks to the Bear Bait Ultras family!! That includes our amazing runners, their families and awesome sponsors. Because of you, Dan and Bev we were able to present the 2019 proceeds, $6000, to the the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast today. It is an honor to contribute toward the amazing work and generosity they provide our service members and their families every day!! Looking forward to 2020 already!! — with Jerry Williams and Bryan Creager
Our friends, Debbie and Sharon were on hand at the Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras parade at the Village of Baytowne Wharf, driving their mustangs and tossing moonpies to the crowd. They also presented the club’s annual donation of $750 to continue blessing our military families during times of medical need. Thanks to Community Ambassador Wayne Williams for receiving the BIG check and leading the parade.
Eddie, and the WOSSE 19–002 raised $540 as part of their class and donated to our Fisher House at Eglin AFB. Eddie advocated to donate locally and met Jim Fisher, our board member on Saturday to make the presentation. We are grateful for the many who support while serving too! What a great photo of our nation’s defenders. Jim and Eddie are shown below all smiles for their affection for our mission.
