Rob Reyes, owner of Stripes Pub & Grill in Navarre, Florida, recently presented a $2,000 donation to Fisher House of the Emerald Coast, Inc. through their 9th Annual Navarre Beach Pub Crawl, t-shirt sales. Proceeds from this year’s event was evenly split, with That Others May Live charity also receiving $2,000.  Donations made to Fisher House enable the organization to continue supporting military families during medical needs with lodging and transportation.   Fisher House, located on Eglin AFB opened in September of 2010, and has saved military families over $1.8 million dollars in lodging and transportation. The geographic footprint offers services to residents from Pensacola to Panama City.

Mia Hughes lays wreath in support of Memorial Day, partnership with Niceville Exchange Club

Exchange Club of Niceville remembers our fallen heroes.

The Exchange Club of Niceville was again honored to participate in the 2019 Niceville/Valparaiso Memorial Day Ceremony that was held at Doolittle Memorial Park. The Exchange Club, along with twenty-three other civic clubs, laid a wreath to honor the men and women who made the supreme sacrifice for the freedoms we have today. Thank you, Mia Hughes, for representing the Exchange Club by laying our wreath at the ceremony.

On Memorial Day we remember our fallen heroes from all wars. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten. God Bless each and every one of them. May they rest in peace.

All gave some, some gave all.

God Bless America.

Ranger Camp hosts Race the Ranger, donates $1500

Each year, in conjunction with the open house, our friends at Camp Rudder host a tough run, dubbed affectionately as the Race the Ranger.  Proceeds of this event are donated to our Fisher House on Eglin.  It’s an early, fun run and we are pleased that our house is available to our rangers and their families during a medical event.
